You will need your HOA account number and property zip code to register. Through TownSq, homeowners can make payments, access governing documents, communicate with management, and view account information.
To streamline the architectural review process, all applications are submitted and processed electronically through TownSq. This eliminates the need for paper forms and allows homeowners to track the status of their applications throughout the review process.
Once your application has been submitted, you will be able to monitor its progress through each stage of review. When a decision has been made, your approval or denial letter will be available for download directly through TownSq. If additional information is needed, you may be contacted to provide clarification or supporting documentation.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Where should I direct questions about the Architectural Review process?
Please contact Goodwin's Architectural Review team at ACCReview@GoodwinTX.com. You may also contact your Community Manager with general questions.
Phone: 281-706-8950
2. Is there a cost associated with submitting an Architectural Review application?
No. There is currently no fee to submit an Architectural Review application.
3. How long does the review process take?
Applications are processed as quickly as possible; however, the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) may take up to 30 days to render a decision. The review period begins once a complete application and all required supporting documentation have been received.
4. Do I need to submit an application?
Yes. Any modification to the exterior of your home or lot requires prior approval before work begins. This includes projects located in the front, side, or rear yard.
The review process helps ensure that proposed improvements comply with the Association's governing documents, maintain community standards, protect neighboring properties, and preserve property values throughout the community.
5. What happens if I complete a project without approval?
Homeowners are required to obtain approval before beginning any exterior modification. Unapproved improvements may be considered a violation of the Association's governing documents and may result in compliance action.
Depending on the circumstances, homeowners may be required to submit a retroactive application, modify the improvement, remove the improvement, or restore the property to its original condition at the homeowner's expense.
6. What if I do not want to use TownSq?
TownSq is the Association's preferred method for submitting and tracking Architectural Review applications.
If you are unable to access TownSq, please contact ACCReview@GoodwinTX.com to discuss alternative submission options.
